Whipworm in dogs and puppies

How are whipworm caught?

Whipworm eggs are shed into the environment in faeces by infected dogs. To cause illness, a large number of these eggs need to accumulate, as they might in a kennels. They are then swallowed by other dogs, who continue the life cycle.
